Alberta A. Buenemann

Alberta A. Buenemann, 91, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at Sugar Creek Assisted Living in Troy, Missouri. She was born on April 3, 1924 in Troy, Missouri the daughter of the late Albert and Annie Karrenbrock. She was united in marriage to Ernie Buenemann on October 15, 1944 at the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills, Missouri and to this union three daughters and one son were born. Alberta was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife. She enjoyed her fancy work, crocheting, quilting and embroidering. Alberta loved playing the organ and tending her garden and pulling weeds. She was a member of the Friedens United Church of Christ in Moscow Mills. Alberta volunteered her time at the Bread for Life Food Pantry and the Moscow Mills Food Pantry. You would hear Alberta humming a church hymn as she was preparing a meal or drying the dishes. She was a loving, caring woman, who genuinely cared about her family and friends. She is survived by her loving children, Erna Stiner and husband Ernie of Troy, Marilyn Dickerson and husband Micah of Troy, Gail Stanek and husband William of Hawk Point and Gary Buenemann and wife Mindy of St. Charles; one sister, Irene Bossaller of St. Louis; one granddaughter, Rebecca (Dickerson) Kuhn and husband James of Kansas City; two great-granddaughters, Austen and Brittan Kuhn; relatives and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her brother, Donald Karrenbrock and brother-in-law, Walter Bossaller. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Friedens United Church of Christ located at 980 Main St Moscow Mills, MO 63362. Officiating the service will be Pastor Eugene Rahmier. Interment will be held at Friedens Cemetery.
