Alice Faye Amann

Alice Faye Amann, 71, of Hawk Point, Missouri passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024 surrounded by her loving family at her residence in Hawk Point, Missouri. She was born on January 22, 1953 in St. Charles, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” and Gladys Geneva (Ethington) Henebry. Alice was united in marriage to Craig Amann on October 8, 1971 at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawk Point, Missouri and he preceded her in death on September 13, 2015. Together Craig and Alice shared three daughters and one son. Alice graduated from Buchanan High School in 1970. She retired from People’s Bank & Trust after 42 years of dedication as a Bookkeeping Supervisor. Alice was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawk Point, Missouri. In her earlier years she enjoyed hunting and fishing with Craig. Alice liked watching the Cardinals. She was an amazing cook and was known for her baked goods especially her, cinnamon rolls, french toast and brownies. Alice liked crafting. What Alice enjoyed most of all was spending time with her family and grandchildren. She looked forward to going to the St. Patrick Fish Frys. Alice enjoyed listening to Elvis, Charlie Pride and country music. Her outgoing and loving personality will be missed. She is survived by her two daughters: Heidi Owenby and husband Darron of Hawk Point and Heather Gray and husband Wayne of St. Charles; grandchildren: Lily, Brianna and Cooper Owenby, Alysan Amann and Arianna Shannon; sisters and brothers: Richard Henebry of Troy, Sissy Tuepker of Hawk Point, Betty Anne Smith of Winfield, Donna Reale of Troy and Roberta Trost and husband Mike of Troy; nieces and nephews: Michael, Robert and Michelle Henebry, Jill, Brian and Kenny Dunard, Dawn Seeger, Keith Henebry and Joseph and Andrew Trost, Josh and Matt White, Kaleb and Ashleigh Henebry, Layne, Jaxon and Mason Henebry, Brenden Cockrell, Brooklyn and Jayden Henebry, Preston and Lucas Seeger and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Craig Amann, one son, Heath Amann, one infant daughter, Cynthia Allison Amann, father and mother: Robert “Bob” and Gladys Geneva Henebry, sister: Mary Jane Henebry, and one brother, Kenny Henebry, father-in-law and mother-in-law: Earl and Jeanne Amann, two brothers-in-law: Mark Amann and Gene Smith and two sisters-in-law, Susan Molle and Penny Henebry. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 6, 2024 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 458 Main Street Hawk Point, MO 63349. Interment will be held at Mary’s Cemetery in Hawk Point, Missouri.
