Bob Anthony Michael

Bob Anthony Michael, 57, of Winfield, Missouri, went home to the Lord on Monday, February 10, 2025, in Troy, Missouri. He was born on June 11, 1967, in St. Louis, Missouri, and was the son of Billy Wayne and Anna Mae (Gabbert) Michael. Bob was united in marriage to Margaret Vehige on September 27, 1986, in Warrenton, Missouri and together they shared two sons. Bob graduated from Wright City High School and continued his education as a Union Carpenter. He worked for Union Local #32 and was dedicated for over 25 years. Bob was an outdoor enthusiast and loved his walking horses. He loved his animals, especially his horses, goats and chickens and found them very therapeutic. Bob could spend hours on the back of a horse, trail riding. He took great pride in showing his walking horses. When he found time, he enjoyed fishing. Bob was a hard worker and an all-around good guy. His outgoing personality will be deeply missed. Bob is survived by his wife Margaret Michael of Winfield, MO; his mother, Anna Michael of Troy, MO; two sons: Tyler Michael (Niki) of Winfield, MO and Dylan Michael of Winfield, MO; siblings: Billie VanderMierden, Barbara Coose (Darrell) and Beth Turner (Mark); mother-in-law, Carolyn Vehige; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ed Vehige (Mary), Joan Heil (Chris), Debbie Neill (Dave), David Vehige (Debbie), Jackie Stewart (Robbie), Linda Case (Pat) and Carol Jean Rohan (Steve); aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Michael and father-in-law, James Vehige. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379.
