Bobby D. Shearrer

Bobby D. Shearrer, 84, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at his residence in Troy, Missouri. He was born on February 28, 1938 in Patterson, Missouri was the son of Paul and Opal (Davis) Shearrer. Bobby was united in marriage to Judith Parker on December 14, 1963 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union one daughter and one son were born. Bobby graduated from O’Fallon Tech School in 1957. He served his country in the United State Armed Forces from February 10, 1956 until he was honorably discharged on February 9, 1962. Bobby retired as a supervisor after 27 years of dedication with Missouri Department of Transportation. In his earlier years he liked to quail, pheasant and squirrel hunt. He was a gifted mechanic and talented when it came to construction, always taking on various projects. Bobby enjoyed watching NASCAR and spending time in his garden. He loved spending time with his family and was always present for his grandchildren’s activities. Bobby loved unconditionally and was often strong willed at times. Bobby is survived by one son and one daughter: Kimberly Lawrence and husband Michael of Warrenton, MO and Brian Shearrer and partner Darin Jenkins of St. Louis, MO; one brother and one sister: Oliver Shearrer of Foley and Annabelle Neighbor (Jerry) of Wright City, MO; grandchildren: Ryan Lawrence (Debra), Sarah Lawrence and Katie Heflin (Doug); great-grandchildren: Alex Lawrence, Brooklyn Lawrence, Dallas Lawrence, Jaxon Ramsour, Kimberly Jackson, and Dakota Heflin; one great-great grandson, Dawson Heflin; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Opal Shearrer, his wife, Judith Shearrer, one sister, Nettie Shearrer and one brother, Gale Shearrer and sisters-in-law: Jill McGee Shearrer and Barbara Ploch Shearrer. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349. Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel in Hawk Point, MO. Graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Rowland Woods Cemetery in Patterson, MO.
