Brunson Burke Fidler

Brunson Burke Fidler, 84, of Cuba, Missouri formerly of Troy, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Victorian Place of Cuba Senior Care in Cuba, Missouri. He was born on May 27, 1934 in Arlington, West Virginia, a son of the late William and Vera (Burke) Fidler. Brunson was united in marriage to Carol Casement on January 1, 1986 in Troy, Missouri and she preceded him in death on February 19, 2016. Brunson graduated from Weston High School, served his country in the United States Navy and was honorably discharged. He retired from McDonnell Douglas after many years of dedication and later worked for Bodine. Brunson loved spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing and working on various projects. Carol and Brunson raised sheep and great pyrenes dogs for many years. He is survived by one son and one daughter: Dennis Fidler (Trudie) of St. James, MO and Marie Fidler of Las Vegas, NA; Carol’s children: Thomas Langion, Jr. (Geraldine) of Citra, FL, Jeanne Judge (Patrick) of Mascoutah, IL and Timothy Langion of Lindemhurst, NY; one son-in-law: Alan Zahner; seven grandchildren: Melisa, Mathew, Elizabeth, Carlino, Teresa, Cynthia and Patrick; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol Fidler, one daughter, Carol Zahner, one brother and one sister. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379.
