Carl David Kemper

Carl David Kemper, 87, of Winfield, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018, surrounded by his family at his residence. He was born on April 6, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the son of late William and Carrie E. (Shephard) Kemper. Carl was united in marriage to Betty Venable on May 13, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union two sons and three daughters were born. Carl retired after 38 years of dedication with McDonnell Douglas where he was an active part in the aerospace program and assisted in assembling the Harpoon Missile. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers for over 65 years and an active member of the New Fellowship Baptist Church in Troy, where he enjoyed doing carpentry work and lending a helping hand when needed. Carl enjoyed tinkering on his computer, woodworking and carpentry work. He valued every minute he shared with his family, especially the 67 years with his best friend. He is survived by loving wife of 67 years, Betty Kemper of Winfield, MO; two sons and three daughters: Carla Bosher of Warrenton, MO, David Kemper of Winfield, MO, Carrie Noble of Friendswood, TX, Clark Kemper and wife Becky of Warrenton, MO and Jerri Sue Roettger and husband Randy of Troy, MO; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, five sisters and two sons-in-law: Jim Boshers and Randy Noble. Friends and family will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the New Fellowship Baptist Church located at 1255 Main Street Troy, MO 63379. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the New Fellowship Baptist Church in Troy, Missouri.
