Charles Martin Worsley

Charles Martin Worsley, 73 years of age, from Troy, Missouri, went home to the Lord, surrounded by his family on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at his residence in Troy, Missouri. He was born on April 28, 1952 in St. Charles, Missouri, and was the son of the late Charles Worsley, Jr. and Colma Martin. Charles married the love of his life, April (Stonum) Schaeffer, on February 10, 1995, in St. Charles, Missouri. Together, they shared two sons and a daughter. Charles graduated from Buchanan High in 1970. He served his country in the United States Navy. Charles enlisted on August 25, 1970 and was honorably discharged on June 2, 1980. Charles was very knowledgeable when it came to real estate and worked for various companies over the years, including Century 21, Prudential, Gundaker and Berkshire Hathaway. He was known as a mentor to many. Charles enjoyed spending time outdoors and fishing with his wife and family. He was always thinking about others and was always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. Charles was a kind and gentle husband, father and grandfather. He was a straight-shooter and always there when you needed him. Charles is survived by his wife, April Worsley of Troy, MO; one son and one daughter: Greg Worsley and wife Erin and Sara Bazzoni and husband Michael; one brother and two sisters: Ann Coose, Mark Worsley and spouse Debbie and Carol Worsley Gibson; grandchildren: Dannie Worsley, Dylan Worsley, Riley Bazzoni, Hayden Bazzoni and Morgan Bazzoni; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Christopher Schaeffer, one brother, Mike Worsley and one brother-in-law, Gerry Coose. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Services will be held private for family and close friends on Thursday, September 25, 2025 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO.
