Dena Kay Miller

Dena Kay Miller, 47, of Moscow Mills, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born on October 10, 1972 in Alton, Illinois, a daughter of Daniel A. and Norma E. (Eaker) Kilmer. She was united in marriage to Tim Miller on June 2, 2006 at the Lincoln County Court House Steps. Dena graduated from Civic Memorial High School in Bethalto, IL in 1991 and continued her education. She was a secretary for Shaw Industries for many years but was primarily a stay at home mom. Dena enjoyed crafting, she could make just about anything. She was really good at embroidering, making stuffed animals, baby blankets, bows and earrings. Dena loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a loving, kindhearted woman, who was always trying to help, even with all the set backs in life and her sense of humor will be missed. She is survived by her loving husband, Tim Miller of Moscow Mills, MO; mother, Norma Harrison (James) of Brazoria, TX; one daughter and one son: Alex Kroninger (Kellon) of Troy and Nicholas Miller of Kentucky; four bonus children: Jesse Miller (Michelle) of Eolia, Kyle Miller (Alexandria) of Bowling Green, Dustin Miller (Ashley) of Troy and Brandon Miller (Jordan) of Olney; one sister, Julie Paris (Mark) of Bethalto, IL; grandchildren: Alyssa, Ryder, Arabella, Wyatt, Ella, Alayna, Leah, Elias, Kolten, Mallory, Mylah, Harvey, Issac and another on the way, Zelma; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel Kilmer, one grandson, Noah Miller, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry and Betty Miller and grandfather, Seldon Eaker. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Christ Centered Church located at 2221 Alexandria Crossing Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Christ Centered Church located at 2221 Alexandria Crossing Troy, MO 63379. Officiating the service will be Pastor Kelly Hardcastle. Interment Troy City Cemetery in Troy, Missouri.
