Eleanor M. Mirgaux

Eleanor M. Mirgaux, 82, of Franklin, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2025, at her residence in Franklin, Kentucky. She was born on November 5, 1942, in St. Louis, Missouri and was the daughter of Louis and Agnes (Carpenter) Krizek. Eleanor was united in marriage to John Mirgaux on October 21, 1969 in St. Louis, Missouri and together they shared one daughter and five sons. He preceded her in death on March 11, 2021. Eleanor was a machine operator for Joseph Lipic Pen Company for many years. She was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hawk Point, Missouri and Franklin, Kentucky. Eleanor liked reading books, especially Agetha Christy. She enjoyed watching movies and was fond of Golden Girls. Eleanor was a very loving and giving lady. She would give you the shirt off her back if you need it. If Eleanor made a promise, it was kept. She never met a stranger and had a contagious smile. Eleanor is survived by her two sons and one daughter: Frank Wachter and wife Liz, Clifford Wachter and wife Michelle and Christine Wood and husband Jeff; siblings: Barbara Krull and husband Robert, Elizabeth Sutton, Sylvia Molohan, Aloysius Krizek wife Connie and Steven Krizek; grandchildren: Amy Mendenhall, Jeffrey Wood (Jessica) and Brandon Wood; great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and her church family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Louis and Agnes Krizek; three sons: LeRoy Miller, Donald Wachter and Greg Mirgaux. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church located at 458 Main Street Hawk Point, MO 63349. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Hawk Point, Missouri.
