Frances Elaine Schenck

Frances Elaine Schenck, 91, of Truxton, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Troy Manor in Troy, Missouri. She was born on May 10, 1930 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Artie and Ruby (Gilbert) Tucker. Frances was united in marriage to Arthur Schenck on June 11, 1949 in St. Charles, Missouri and to this union three sons and one daughter were born. Frances graduated from Truxton High School. She was primarily a homemaker and took pride in caring for her family and later worked at the Bellflower Nursing Home in Bellflower, MO. Frances was a member of the Zion Methodist Church in Truxton, MO and Ladies VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading and spending time outdoors gardening. Frances liked cooking and was known for her potato salad, brownies, any kind of pie and cookies for the grandkids. She always listened to country music and valued the time spent with her family. She is survived by three sons and one daughter: Dale Schenck and wife Ginger of Warrenton, MO, Dennis Schenck and wife Barb of Warrenton, MO, David Schenck of Truxton, MO and Diane Johnson of Jacksonville, MO; six grandchildren: Justin Schenck, Athena Blanton (Robbie), Katie Schenck, Andrew Schenck, Ashley Seiders (Sam) and Kelsey Schenck; two great-grandsons: Evan Schenck and Lucian Weakley; one great-granddaughter, Elaine (Lainey) Seiders; one sister, Naomi Moran, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Artie and Ruby Tucker, husband, Arthur Schenck, two brothers: James Tucker and Wayne Tucker, two sisters: Rosa Surls and Nancy Fischer, one grandson, T.J. Holt, two sons-in-law: Tim Holt and John Johnson and one grandson-in-law, Shaun Weakley. Family and friends will be received from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 at KEMPER- KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349.
