Jason Edward Sickler

Jason Edward Sickler, 49, of Elsberry, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 in Bloomsdale, Missouri. He was born on August 11, 1976, in Sterling, Colorado, and was the son of Fred and Diane (Mareschal) Sickler. Jason married Christine Brethauer on February 14, 2009, in Wentzville, Missouri, and to this union, one daughter and one son were born. Jason attended grade school at Rebecca Boone and then graduated from Wright City High School in 1995. He worked for Garry Eggert Trucking and Excavating for many years and, most recently, for Richards Brick. He was a member of the Teamsters Union. Jason took great pride in caring for his wife and children. He would work countless hours and not miss spending time with his family. He liked mowing, fishing, and reading. Jason was known for his delicious BBQ and endless tea. He valued the time he spent with his family and close friends. Jason had a great sense of humor and was stubborn at times. He loved doing everyday life with Christine and the memories they made along the way. Jason is survived by his wife Christine Sickler of Elsberry; one daughter and one son: Krystal Sickler and William Sicker; mother, Diane Roslanksy: two brothers: Rusty Daniels and Randy Mese; one half-brother, Fred Sickler; one half-sister, Cassandra Vesperman; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Sickler, one sister, Crystal Sickler, step-fathers: Everett “Rusty” Daniels and Jeffrey “Jr.” Roslansky, and grandparents. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel, located 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at the Troy Chapel.
