Jerome "Jerry" Lawerence Zerrer Jr.

Jerome “Jerry” Lawerence Zerrer, Jr., 63, of Stoutsville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022 at his residence in Stoutsville, Missouri. He was born on June 1, 1959, in St. Louis, Missouri, and was the son of Jerome Lawerence and Mary Jane (Winkelmann) Zerrer. Jerry was united in marriage to Lisa Neal on April 4, 1990 and she preceded him in death on October 21, 2012. He later married Fawn Knoll on December 19, 2022 in Stoutsville, MO. Jerry attended Sacred Heart Catholic School and graduated from Troy Buchanan in 1978. He had 25 years of dedications with Alberici and later Greater MO Builders. Jerry was a member of the Labor Union 660 and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In his earlier years he was an excellent artist, who was known for his pottery. He liked baking including making wedding cakes, wood working and antiquing. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, crappie fishing and hunting for deer and turkey. Jerry liked playing golf and on pool leagues. During the summers he spent most of his time in the garden caring for his tomatoes with Fawn. He loved time with his family, especially spoiling his grandchildren. Jerry is survived by his wife, Fawn Zerrer of Stoutsville, MO; mother, Mary Jane Zerrer of Troy, MO; children: Casey Thompson of Troy, Missouri, Amber Stanek (Matthew) of Troy, Missouri, Chelsea Neal (Cassy) of Troy, MO and Karlea Welch (Devin) of Elsberry, MO; siblings: John Zerrer, Sr. (Brenda) of Elsberry, MO, Bill Zerrer (Glenna) of Elsberry, MO, Bob Zerrer (Shelia) of Clarksville, MO, Mary Jane Zerrer Marre (Frank) of Elsberry, MO, Tom Zerrer (Tonya) of Louiseville, MO, Ted Zerrer (Sara) of Elsberry, MO, Katy Schormann (Craig) of Troy, MO and Clemmy Zerrer of Troy, MO; grandchildren: Bryson Stanek, Talon Stanek, Duane Thompson, Abel Kallery, Nixon Welch and Lolah Welch; step-sons: Shawn Samuels of St. Peters, MO and Jonathan Vanmeter of Stoutsville, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome “Jerry” L. Zerrer, Sr.; wife, Lisa Zerrer; brothers: Joe Zerrer and Jim Zerrer; nephews: John Robert Zerrer, Jr. and Michael Anthony Zerrer and one step-son, Kiernan Samuels.
