JoAnn Everhart

JoAnn Everhart, 70, of Troy, Missouri, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 21, 2017 in Troy, Missouri. She was born on March 28, 1947 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Louis and Lorene (Frentzel) Adragna. JoAnn was united in marriage to George W. Everhart on April 15, 1966 in St. Louis, Missouri. JoAnn was the rock of the family, and her unwavering faith in the Lord guided her as she cared for everyone and always put everyone’s needs before her own. She was an avid story-teller and never met a stranger, she was a mentor to many. There wasn’t any task that she couldn’t handle, she was hardworking and dedicated always taking on new projects. JoAnn was an amazing cook, with a blink of an eye had a beautiful meal prepared for her family. She had a true passion for music and art, she was very talented. JoAnn was a lover of nature and was thankful for the memories she made with George traveling especially their trips to any mountain they could find. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, George W. Everhart of Troy; six daughters and two sons: Gina Simon (Michelle) Wentzville, Lisa Everhart-Light (Paul) of Godfrey, IL, Amie Kranz (David) of O’Fallon, Carrie Everhart (Greg) of Fenton, Stephanie Everhart Brown (Mark) of Cottleville, Diana Worth (Fred) of Slidell, LA, Tracy Everhart of Germany and Scott Everhart of Kentucky; one brother, John Adragna of Troy; grandchildren: Lauren, Angelina (J.R.), Lorraina (Andy), Elaine (Mike), Allison, Jacob, Joshua, Sabrina, Sophia, Luke, Sarah, Terra (Jaremy), Justin, Heather (Danny), Zachery and Lauren; great-grandchildren: Olivia, Jax, Kai, Lilliana, Lennon, Daltyn, Liam, Malia, Jaremy, Jr., Jaison, Jaxon, Corbin, and Keylie; numerous relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Tom Adragna, two grandsons: Austin and Seth and one great-granddaughter Jada. Friends will be received from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Chapel of the Cross, located at 907 Jungermann Road, St. Peters, MO 63376.
