Joseph Walker Jr.

Joseph Walker, Jr. passed away on August 19, 2026, at the age of 70. He was born on February 6, 1956, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Hazel and Joseph Walker, Sr. He was raised in Wentzville, Missouri, and graduated from Wentzville High School. A proud veteran, Joseph honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps after enlisting in 1975. Throughout his life, he was known for his strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to lend a helping hand. His career spanned several industries, including Trinity Products, a local sod farm, and automotive repair. In 1986, Joseph met and later married Tammy Carroll Benoit in September 2007 with whom he shared two sons. He later married Sandy Crawford in March 2017. Above all, Joseph cherished his family. He expressed his love through acts of service, especially by preparing meals for those he cared about. He enjoyed spending time fishing, sharing stories, and creating lasting memories with family and friends. Joseph found great joy in being a grandfather, and his love, guidance, and presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Joseph is survived by his sons, Joseph Walker III and Jacob Joseph (Samantha )Walker, granddaughter Isabella Walker, bonus granddaughter Madison Henson, his wife, Sandy Crawford Walker, bonus daughter Kara Eoff, and her children, Deyshon Price, Robert Woods IV, Elijah Eoff, and Marcarius Sneeling. He is also survived by his sisters, Arlene Webster, Teresa (Ralph) Aldredge, Annette Sydnor, Sharon (Larry) Wyatt, sister-in-law, Lawana Hanna and bonus siblings Bobby and Vickie Roby. He leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, including Darlene (Darrin) Morgan, Mark Wray, Barbara (Willie) Wray-Bogan, Lionel Luckett, Terrell Luckett, LaToya Luckett, Danielle Aldredge, Simone (Richard) Senior, Brittany Aldredge, Antwanette Sydnor, Annette (Stephan) Hamel, Gaberial Sydnor, Sr., Larry Wyatt, Shauntessa Wyatt, Marvin Scales, Jr., and Sandra (Patrick) Taylor. Joseph is lovingly remembered by many including great nieces, nephews, and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Walker, Sr. and Hazel Walker; his sister, Marjorie Scales; his brother, Edward Wray; his sister-in-law, Geraldine Wray; his nephew, Edward Wray, Jr.; and his niece, Corlos Scales.
