Joshua "Josh" James Moore

Joshua “Josh” James Moore, passed away on Thursday November 2, 2023 in Troy Missouri. Josh was born May 4, 1970 and was 53 years old. His family is deeply saddened by his death. Josh graduated high school at Riverview Gardens in 1988. He worked at Bill's Meat Market from 1984 through 1990. Josh started working at MEMC in 1990 where he met his wife. Josh was united in marriage to Laura Marie Fielder on July 11, 1992 in Bellefontaine Neighbors, Missouri and together they shared two daughters. In 2008 Josh attended Vatterott College earning an associate degree in HVAC, eventually working as a Sheet Metal journeyman for Local Union No. 36. Josh was quite but always listening. He enjoyed music rather he was blaring the radio, playing his guitars and drums. Josh was highly skilled at the "AIR" guitar and was an advanced drummer on the steering wheel. Josh had a passion for soccer. He played many years, volunteered as a coach for his child and grandchildren as well as attended many of their sporting activities. He took an active role in the lives of his children & grandchildren. Teaching them many skills, always sharing advice on life skills and caring for them like his very own. Josh had many hobbies and was very creative. He enjoyed wood & metal working, photography, the great outdoors and wild life. Josh is survived by his wife Laura Moore of Troy, MO, his mother Barbara J. (Weisner) Moore, mother-in-law Diane (Emert) Fielder, two daughters: Kendra Edelen (Jason) of Troy, MO and Melodie Lynn (Bobby Teal) of Wentzville, MO; three sisters: Lisa Mohrman (Glen) of Blackjack, MO, Amy Moore (Aaron) of St. Louis, MO and Emily Wanner (Chris) of Dardenne Prairie, MO; four grandchildren: Kaydence Lynn, Kruz Lynn, Ann Marie Edelen, William Edelen and two bonus grandchildren: Bobby Teal IV, Kylie Teal; one godchild, Gabriella Wanner; nephews: Jared Cole (Ahnna), Evan Cole and Andrew Wanner; and many friends and family. Josh was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Martin Moore, his father-in-law Robert L. Fielder, his grandparents August & Alma Weisner and Pink & Evelyn Moore. Josh will be deeply missed and we will forever cherish the memories we have with him. A social gathering will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023 at O’Fallon VFW Post #5077 located at 8500 Veterans Memorial Parkway O’Fallon, MO 63366.
