Julie King

Julie Lee King, 60, of Winfield, Missouri, passed away on March 12, 2014 at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, Missouri. She was born April 4, 1953 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the Max Williams (Ruth) and Margaret L. Lacey (Verne). Julie was united in marriage to Ronnie King on February 14, 1970 at the St. Louis Courthouse. To this union seven children were born. Julie was a homemaker and taking care of her family was her top priority. She enjoyed playing bunco, crafting, going on picnics and spending time with her family. Julie loved family gatherings, Birthdays, Christmas and especially Easter. She was an expert shopper at Wal-Mart and always knew how to enjoy life. Julie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, best friend and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ronnie D. King, Sr. of Winfield, Missouri; children, Kimberly Hall (Steven) of Winfield, MO, Ronnie D. King, Jr. (Laura) of Winfield, MO, Stephen King (Amanda) of Troy, Timmy King (Brandie) of Foley, MO, Stacey Brawley (Jodie) of Silex, MO, Tracy King (Carol) of Troy, MO and Travis King (Angela) of Troy, MO; father Max Williams (Ruth) of Springfield, IL; siblings, Elizabeth Walter (Robert) Moscow Mills, MO, Ronnie Williams (Bonnie) Creve Couere, MO, Donnie Williams (Diane) of O’Fallon, MO, Tammie Bury (Rick) of Foley, MO, Verne “Butch” Lacey, Jr. (Sandi) of Troy, MO and Susie Williams (Joe Peden) of Springfield, MO; brother-in-laws, Johnny King, Donnie King, Larry King and Jimmy King; sister-in-laws, Bonnie King and Sharon King; twenty seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret L. Lacey (Verne), daughter-in-law, Carol King, sister-in-laws, Rita Roettjer and Connie Sue King and brother-in-law, Don King. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home/ Troy Chapel. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home/ Troy Chapel. Interment will be held at Troy City Cemetery.
