Kenneth "Kenny" Howard McDonald Jr.

Kenneth “Kenny” Howard McDonald, Jr., 70 of Vandalia, Missouri, went home to the Lord on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at his residence. He was born on April 16, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri and was the son of Kenneth H. and Shirley J. (Ennis) McDonald. Kenny graduated high school and served his country in the United States Navy from 1973 until he was honorably discharged in 1975. He worked as a machinist for over 28 years with Normandy Machinery. Kenny was a family man and spent most of his time with daughter, grandchild and best friend, Randy. He looked forward to riding his Harley with Randy. Kenny was proud of dedicating his life to the United States Navy and drinking his morning coffee in his liberal tears cup. He was always up for social hour. Kenny loved to talk politics and was a Trump supporter. Since retirement you could find Kenny at his new house on one of his three porches with his family and close friends. Kenny is survived by his three daughters: Crystal Johnson (Jay), Dawn Ehasz (Mark), Jessica McDonald; his mother, Shirley Dugan; siblings: Mike McDonald (Marie), Rosemary Farr (John), Sandra Moesch(Rick), Sharon Warren (Joe), Brenda McDonnell (Paul), Patrick McDonald (Laura), Christine Dugan, Michelle Cockrell (Troy) Cherie Helmkamp (Roy), Kelly Ostrowski (Kevin) and Chaun Mikuleza (Jackie); grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Clarissa, Cameron, Skyelin, Isiah, Bailey, Riley, Noah, Kya, Cheynne, Genevieve, Rosevelt, Regan, Lavendar, Julian, Vincent and Lukas; dear friend Randy; former wife Debi Williams; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Kenneth H. McDonald, Sr., three siblings: Deborah Mudd, Pamela Byington and Veronica McDonald and former wife, Julie McDonald. Family and friends will be received from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the Moscow Mills Lions Club located at 30 Freise Industrial Drive Moscow Mills, MO 63362.
