Kim Denice Sydnor

Kim Denice Sydnor, 64, of Troy, MO, went home to the Lord on Sunday, October 6, 2024 at SSM St. Joseph Hospital in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. She was born on January 3, 1960, in Troy, Missouri and was the daughter of Lloyd and Rachel (Shelton) Sydnor. Kim met the love of her life in 1992 and together they shared two sons and one daughter. Kim worked at Mercy Lincoln Hospital in registration for over 10 years, then at Troy Manor as a Cook and most recently at Denny’s as a waitress and hostess. She was dedicated to working and providing for her family. When she was not working, she was cheering on the Charger’s football team. Kim loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. Her whole world changed, the day God blessed her with becoming a maw maw. She was an amazing cook and liked to try her luck with scratch off lotto tickets. Kim was a loving momma to many and welcomed everyone. Everyone will miss her tell it like it is personality and her heart of gold. She is survived by her life long partner, Darryl Walton of Troy, MO; two sons and one daughter: Jerome Morris II of Troy, MO, Steven James Russell II of Wentzville, MO and Kimarryl Walton of O’Fallon, MO; grandchildren: Jerome Morris III, Braxtynn Russell, Adisynn Betts, Kiarah Morris, Isaiah Russell, Milani Russell, Rian Rapa-Thompson and another on the way; several siblings including: Edwin Sydnor of Troy, MO and Regina Sydnor of Troy, MO; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Lloyd and Rachel Sydnor. Family and friends will received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379.
