Leonard J. Huber

Leonard J. Huber, 73, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023 in Troy, Missouri. He was born on May 2, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and was the son of John and Agnes (Henningfield) Huber. Leonard was united in marriage to Terry Matlock in 1979 in Union, Missouri. Leonard graduated high school and served his country in the United States Marine Corps from August 29, 1967 until he was honorably discharged on June 10, 1970. He retired from Waylon as a security guard and most recently was a driver for Oats. Leonard was a Purple Heart recipient, looked forward to attending the Lincoln County Veterans Coffee Talk on Thursdays. In his earlier years he enjoyed bowling and golfing. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leonard could be stubborn at times and was a very loving man. Leonard is survived by his loving wife, Terry Huber of Troy, MO; two daughters and two sons: Melissa Walton and husband Oscar of Moscow Mills, MO, Daniel Clemons, Jr. of Troy, MO, John Clemons and wife Marty of IN and Tara Randall and husband Don of Kahoka, MO; one sister Theresa Dawdy of Ky; grandchildren: Paige, Dalton, Erica, Nadine, Rose, Katie, Delaney and Riley; two great-grandchildren: Zander and Skyler; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons: Corey and Donnie, Jr. and father-in-law, Bobby D. Matlock, Sr. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery located at 2900 Sheridan Road St. Louis, MO 63125.
