Marjorie Yvonne Scales, 81, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 in St. Charles, Missouri. She was born on May 2, 1941 in Troy, Missouri and the daughter of the late Joseph and Hazel (Ray) Walker. Marjorie attended Buchanan High. She worked for various factories including Monsanto, later became a Pre-K Teacher and most recently a Homemaker. Marjorie was a member of the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed traveling and was always up for an adventure. Marjorie liked playing Bingo, coloring and watching her favorite TV shows. She was one of the happiest people you would meet, with a smile that could light up a room. Marjorie was always on the go and she loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren. Marjorie is survived by two daughters and one son: Sharon Wyatt (Larry) of Wentzville, MO, Marvin Scales, Jr. (Myrna Mastin) of O’Fallon, MO and Sandra Taylor (Patrick) of O’Fallon, MO; one brother and three sisters: Joseph Walker, Jr. (Sandy) of Wright City, MO, Arlene Webster of St. Ann, MO, Teresa Aldredge (Ralph) of Davis, CA and Annette Sydnor of St. Ann, MO; grandchildren: Larry Wyatt, Charles “Lamar” McKee (Jennifer), Jenifer Scales, Shauntessa Wyatt, Ricky Cheers (Megan) and Tyler Scales; great-grandchildren: Brittney Reed, Kiarra Wyatt and Brayden McKee; special friend, Pablo Sanchez, caregiver, Vicky Matthew; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by parents, one daughter, Corlos Scales, one brother, Edward “John” Wray and Marvin Scales, Sr. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379.
