Martha Jeanette Stoeckel, 72, of Crestwood, Missouri passed away on Monday, August 27, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 21, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of Rawleigh Merlin and Tessie Marvel Finger (Bettis). She attended Hawk Point Elementary School and graduated from Warrenton High School. Jeanette enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She loved her nieces and nephews very much and they held a special place in her heart. She was a person who had a big heart and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her siblings: James M. Finger and wife, Marie of Troy, Missouri, Juanita M. Briggs and husband, Gary of Troy, Missouri, Terry L. Finger and wife, Carol of Clermont, Florida, Morton W. Finger of St. Louis, Missouri and Sondra K. Mischke and husband, Greg of Steelville, Missouri; nieces and nephews: Gary Briggs II, Karen Crouch, Brenda Gillespie, Christine Surls, Karen Kurz, Tana Volmert, Stephanie Dudic and Jan Marie Young; great-nieces and great-nephews: Gary Briggs III, Nicole Schaffner, Hannah Briggs, Alissa Briggs, Bridgette Kunza, Jessica Gillespie, David Surls,, Andrew Surls, Taylor Lindhorst, Alex Lindhorst, Katie Kurz, Kevin Kurz, Alisha Volmert, Shelby Volmert, Lejla Dudic, Eldin Dudic, Ariela Dudic and Samuel Young; great-great-nieces and great-great nephews: Adam and Anthony Schaffner, Brody and Brooklyn Miller and Amelia Kunza. She was preceded in death by her father Rawleigh M. Finger on April 8, 1989, mother, Tessie Marvel Finger on December 18, 1995 nephew, Eric Lindhorst on November 12, 2011, great-nephew, Garrett J. Briggs on September 24, 2007 and sister-in-law, Victoria Finger on October 10, 2009. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at KEMPER-MARSH-MILLARD Family Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 at KEMPER-MARSH-MILLARD Family Funeral Home / Troy Chapel. Interment will be held at Asbury Cemetery.
