Meredieth "LeRoy" Pollard

Meredieth “LeRoy” Pollard, 79, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Lincoln County Nursing and Rehab in Troy, Missouri. He was born on April 4, 1945, Foley, Missouri and was the son of George Pollard and Isabelle (Vaughn) Mozier. LeRoy graduated from Winfield High School. He started working as a stockkeeper with McDonnel Douglas at the age of 18 and retired in 1997. LeRoy was a talented artist, who has some beautiful pieces of oil painting. He enjoyed fishing and social hour with friends. LeRoy stayed up to date with the latest news and gossip. LeRoy had an ear for old music and liked to dance. He was always up for yard sales and antiquing. He valued the time he spent with his family and looked forward to the family shopping trips, which would lead to going out to eat. LeRoy was very giving and generous. His sense of humor will be missed. LeRoy is survived by his three sons and one daughter: Brent Pollard (Timi) of Troy, MO, Doyle Pollard (Dawn) of Foley, MO, Ryan Pollard of Troy, MO and Renauta Kurtz (Ronald) of Troy, MO; one very close brother, Tony Pollard; grandchildren: Dustin Pollard, Ashley Pollard, Brent Pollard, Jr., Ben Pollard, Laina Clark, Christopher Krueger, Cole Walston, Steven Walston, Mason Walston and Brady Walston; three great-grandchildren: Katherine Krueger, Kinlee Pollard and Avery Pollard, former wife, Shirley Pollard; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, George Pollard, mother and step-father: Isabelle and Virgil Mozier, one sister, Leona Pollard and one special dog, Buddy. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Monday, November 4, 2024 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 4, 2024 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. Interment will be held at Corinth Cemetery in Foley, MO.
