Michael Royal Davis

Michael Royal Davis, 75, of Troy, Missouri, passed away surrounded by his family on Sunday, March 1, 2026, at SSM DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, Missouri. He was born on August 21, 1950, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of Royal William and Georgia Maxine (Kisner) Davis. Mike was united in marriage to the love of his life Jackolin “Jackie” M. Stuck on May 16, 1981, in Hawk Point, Missouri, and to this union, they welcomed one daughter and two sons. Mike served his country in the United States Army from September 25, 1970, until he was honorably discharged on September 24, 1976, and later reenlisted with the Air Force National Guard. He retired with over 30 years of dedication to Ford Motors, where he held various positions. Mike was a member of the Warrenton VFW Post #2180. He looked forward to his Thursday mornings at the Lincoln County Veterans Coffee Talk. In his earlier years he liked to deer hunt, fish, and spend time with the guys in the Van Club. He was known for trying his luck at the casino and was always up for an adventure. Mike liked spending time outdoors in his yard, caring for his pecan trees and his goldfish in his pond. He spent countless hours hand-digging his pond with his family. Mike was from a proud military family, and with his sons being a third generation. He was a good father and an even better grandfather. Mike looked forward to traveling and the memories he made with his family along the way. He never met a stranger that he couldn’t have a conversation with and he enjoyed talking with his good friend, Greg. His helping hands and love for the outdoors will be missed. Mike is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Jackolin “Jackie” Davis of Troy, MO; one daughter and two sons: Branda J. Young (Bradley), Clifford W. Davis (Rose Davis) and Benjamin L. Davis; two sisters: Patti Rhodes and Verna Roots; grandchildren: Austin, Elizabeth, Alexander, Alexia Jinger, Cienne and David; one great-grandson, Christopher; brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers-in-law: Fred Rhodes, Rodney Roots and Doug Stuck; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Twila and Herman Stuck. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Hawk Point. Interment will be held with full military honors in the Hawk Point City Cemetery in Hawk Point, MO.
