Patricia A. Lowery

Patricia A. Lowery, 83, of Troy, Missouri passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family in Troy, Missouri. She was born on August 21, 1936 in St. Louis, Missouri, a daughter of the late Arthur Joseph and Virginia Gertrude (Sullivan) Colvis. Patricia was united in marriage to Charles Ray Lowery on April 30, 1955 in Jennings, Missouri and to this union three daughters and one son were born. Patricia graduated with her bachelor’s degree as an RN. She worked for over 23 years as a retail clerk for Kroger in O’Fallon and later was an RN for Lincoln County Medical Center now Mercy Lincoln, where she was an ICU nurse and later a Home Health Care Nurse. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Local #655. Patricia enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing bingo and the slots. She loved working in her yard and traveling. Patricia spent as much time with her family she could, especially spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren every chance she got. She is survived by her three daughters and one son: Lynnda Hermeyer (Kevin) of Winfield, MO, Terri Wright (Robin) of Wentzville, MO, Mark Lowery of O’Fallon, MO and Donna Hunter (Jim) of Monroe City, MO; loved one of 25 years, Tom Drehkoff of Troy, MO; one brother and three sisters: Vernon Colvis and Sue, Mary Hill, Judy Tuttle (Cliff) and Carol Milne (Mike); three bonus children: Kim Gish, Kris Drehkoff and Katie Drehkoff; one brother-in-law, Jack Hill; twelve grandchildren, three bonus grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son-in-law, James Bryan, siblings: Don Colvis (Faye), Art Colvis (Mickie) and Gloria Hill and two brothers-in-law, Walter Beumer and Glenn Rappold. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel, located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at 100 Thompson Drive Troy, MO 63379. Interment will be held in Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Troy, MO. Officiating the mass will be Father Mike Lydon.
