Robert "Robbie" Joshua Day, 39, of Troy, Missouri was called home on Monday, March 20th, 2017.He was born on June 23rd 1977 in Troy, MO. Robbie is the son of Gail Miller and the late Charles “Sandy” Day. Robbie graduated from Troy Buchanan High School, met Skyla Richardson, later married and had three children: Alyssa, Madi and Blake. Known for his humorous personality, Robbie always had a way to put a smile on your face. He was very talented and had a passion for music. He enjoyed showing off his drum and saxophone skills and trying his best at serenading anyone who would listen. Some of the best times were with his family, dancing in the kitchen to his large collection of music downloaded on the computer and swinging the perfect golf club at Woods Fort. Robbie enjoyed spending time tinkering in his shed. His illuminating smile could light up any dark room. He is survived by his three beautiful kids: Alyssa Day of Troy, Madi Day of Troy and Blake Day of Troy; loving mother: Gail Miller of Troy, MO; one brother and one sister: Nathan Day (Tammy) of Troy and Rachel Meyer (Josiah) of Moscow Mills; former wife, Skyla Day of Silex; paternal grandparents: Charlie and Betty Day of Troy; aunts and uncles: Jeffrey Day (Ramona) of Troy, Gary Day (Tina) of Troy, Michael Miller (Debbie) of San Antonio, TX, Greg Miller (Deana)of Olney; Rick Miller of Ballwin, Steve Miller (Sandy) of Silex, Joan Broyles (Carl) of Troy, Lori Ross (Eddie) of Foley and Valerie Miller of Troy; six nephews: Jackson, Jayce, Jacob, Jonah, Ezekiel and Asher; one niece, Maggie, cousins, numerous relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sanford “Sandy” Day, maternal grandparents: John B. and Grace J. Miller, one aunt, Carmen Day-Wells and uncles: Bobby Miller, Pat Miller and two paternal infant uncles. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. A private interment will be held at the Troy City Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jesse Quiroz from Journey Church in Troy, MO.
