Terry Gene Kiser

TTerry Gene Kiser of Foristell, Missouri, passed away on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the age of 65. He was born on December 30, 1958, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and was the son of Bobby Gene and Mable Mae (Johnson) Kiser. Terry was united in marriage to Lori Beth Hall on February 13, 1982, and together they shared two daughters and a son. He worked as a diesel mechanic and retired from the Wentzville R-IV School District in 2016. In his free time, Terry enjoyed hunting and fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He liked restoring firearms, creating crafts out of leather, and watching re-runs of classic cartoons, old westerns, and The Three Stooges. Left behind to cherish and carry on his greatest memories are his wife of more than forty years, Lori Kiser of Foristell, MO; two daughters and one son: Jessica L Kiser and husband Bill Thomas of Tarkio, MO, “Joe” Kiser and wife Tiffany of Foristell, MO, and Jennifer Kiser and significant other, Mike Tune of Montgomery City, MO; three brothers and one sister, Michael Kiser, Kevin Kiser, Roger Kiser, and Michele Brown; one brother-in-law, Buddy Hall; thirteen grandchildren, Conner Thomas, Jasper Thomas, Tabitha Bish, Ashley Moore, Matt Thomas, Nick Harris, Dakota Lafferty, Aiden Holland, Kaydence Kiser, Keegan Kiser, Bryson Kupfer, Gemma Witte, and Greyson Tune; along with several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, stepmom, Sharron (Weist) Kiser, mother-in-law and father-in-law: Don and Kathryn Hall, brother-in-law, Robert Hall, and uncle, Chester Johnson. Terry made an impact on every life he touched and if not, he sure made one heck of an impression, so in true Terry fashion, don’t weep any tears over this extraordinary loss, but make sure to “Shut the door anytime now because I’m still not paying to cool the outside” and by all means “You better leave my couch alone!” A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
