Wendell Bremmer

Wendell Arthur Bremmer, 93, of Hawk Point entered eternal life on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Lincoln County Medical Center. He was born on November 1, 1918 in Carrier, Oklahoma, a son of the late John A. and Lillie M. Bremmer. He was united in marriage to Marie Stanek on December 27, 1941 in Hawk Point, Missouri. She preceded him in death on February 10, 1998. Wendell graduated from Jonesburg High School in 1936. He was a life time farmer, who was very dedicated and still driving a tractor up to 8 years ago. Wendell would help with any electrical or plumbing problem, that needed to be fixed, for his neighbors, churches and the Lions Club. He was involved in many local activities. Wendell was a member of the Hawk Point Community Church, Charter Member of the Hawk Point Lions Club and leader of the Camp Branch 4-H Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, hunting, being outdoors and farming. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Alice Vinson and husband Marty of Lake Saint Louis, Missouri; one son, Robert E. Bremmer of Warrenton, Missouri; six grandchildren: Bryan, Craig and wife Melanie and Russell Booher, Angie Busch, Geri Booher and Kim Mrsny and husband Mike; eight great-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson: one brother-in-law, Frank Stanek; nieces, nephews and many friends. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 56 years, his parents, one infant sister, one brother, John L. Bremmer and one sister-in-law, Helen Bremmer. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2012 at KEMPER-MARSH-MILLARD Family Funeral Home / Hawk Point Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at KEMPER-MARSH-MILLARD Family Funeral Home in Hawk Point. Interment will be held at the Hawk Point City Cemetery.
