Wilbur Neal Leek

Wilbur Neal Leek, 84, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri. He was born on March 5, 1941, in Hawk Point, Missouri and was the son of the late Martin Harold and Lois Evelyn (Claggett) Leek. Neal was united in marriage to Betty Faye Kinion on June 6, 1963 in Hawk Point Missouri and together they raised one son and one daughter. Neal attended Hawk Point Elementary School and graduated from Buchanan High. He retired as a truck driver with 32 years of dedication at Creech Bros Truck Line. Neal loved baseball and was a member of the Hard Road League, Khoury League in Hawk Point and the Hawk Point Athletic Association. He was inducted into the St. Charles County Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame. Neal looked forward to spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He had a passion for farming and enjoyed carpentry work. Neal valued the time he spent with his family at the Lake of the Ozarks, skiing and boating. Neal and Betty enjoyed their thirteen years living in Florida before moving back to Missouri. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan and NASCAR Racing Fan. He was a loving, caring man and would help anyone in need. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Betty Leek of Osage Beach, MO; one son and one daughter: Barry Leek of Linn Creek, MO and Kris Winter and husband Darryl of Warrenton, MO; grandchildren: Tyler Leek (Aubree), Brandon Leek and Danielle Leek; niece and nephews: Kevin Leek (Theresa), Jeff Leek (Trish) and Brenda Logan (Larry); cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father: Martin Harold and Lois Evelyn Leek, siblings: Monty Leek (Darline) and Judy Leek, step grandson, Sean Messerly and one nephew, Kent Leek. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Hawk Point, MO. Interment will be held at Hawk Point Cemetery.
