Daxton William Eugene Scott, son of Deveney Dowell-Roettger and Martez Eugene Scott of Troy, Missouri, was stillborn on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis, Missouri. Along with his parents he is survived by his big sister, Meleah Scott of Troy, Missouri; big brother, Martez E. Scott, Jr. of Hannibal, Missouri; maternal grandparents, William “Vance” and Delana Roettger of Troy, Missouri; paternal grandmother, Yolonda Todd and significant other, Michael Love of Bowling Green, Missouri; paternal grandfather, Markus Scott of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; maternal great-grandparents, Susie Roettger and Ralph Rodriquez of Troy, Missouri; paternal great-grandmother, Egard Mae Nelly of Bowling Green, Missouri; aunts, Chelsea Roettger, Hannah Roettger, Desiray Dixon, Kaylyn Evans and her husband, Greg and Marie Johnson; great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, numerous relatives and many people who loved him. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Carol Dowell; maternal great-grandfather, William “Bill” Roettger; paternal great-grandfather, Waldo Nelly; paternal great-grandparents and two great uncles, Andre Dowell and Venny Dowell. Friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Kemper-Marsh-Millard Family Funeral Home/ Troy Chapel. Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Chapel. Interment will be held at Bethany Cemetery in Winfield, Missouri.
