Gary Lee Gibbons, 38, of Elsberry, Missouri, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012. He was born on February 22, 1974 in St. Charles, Missouri, a loving son of Janet Gradowski and the late Gary Gibbons. Gary grew up with one brother and two sisters. Gary graduated from Wentzville High School in 1993. He loved being outdoors. When he was with his nieces and nephews you could not tell who the bigger kid was and he loved them very much. Gary enjoyed watching wrestling, putting puzzles together, having a good time with his family and friends. He always had a great sense of humor, upbeat and gave 100% in everything he did in life. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him. He is survived by his mother, Janet Gradowski and husband Henry of Elsberry, Missouri; siblings: Rodney Gibbons of Wentzville, Missouri, Christina Gibbons of Elsberry, Missouri and Melissa Gibbons of Hawk Point, Missouri; maternal grandfather, Dewey Hopkins of Dayton, Ohio; nieces and nephews: Felisha, Sydney, Triston, Zackary, Kolten, Hannah, Autumn, Alyssa, Cameron, aunts, uncles and friends. He was preceded in death by his father Gary Gibbons on March 25, 2009 and grandparents. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at KEMPER-MARSH-MILLARD Family Funeral Home / Troy Chapel.
