Jerry Thrasher, 80, of Winfield, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri. Jerry was born on July 6, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri, a son of the late Lester and Fanny Pearl (Eddy) Thrasher. Jerry attended Emerson Grade School and went on to the 10th grade at O’Fallon High School. He worked for the MOOG Automotive – Wellston for over 32 years as a Quality Control inspector. Jerry was a member of the Ridge Road Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking in his free time. He was active on Facebook and spending time with his dogs. Jerry was a regular at Chubby’s Restaurant and will be missed by many. He is survived by one son and four daughters, Gary Thomas Thrasher of Houston, TX, Sharon Lee Richardson of St. Louis, MO, Donna L. (David) Hudson of Clarksville, MO, Karen (Scott) Chapmann of St. Louis, Deanna (Mike) Rogers of Licking, MO; 14 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother Glenn (Joyce) Thrasher of St. Charles, MO, and sister-in-law Judy Thrasher of Burbon, MO; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson Axl Rogers, brothers Edward Lee Thrasher and Dale Thrasher, and sister Lois Martin. Family and Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday January 8, 2021 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday January 9, 2021. Interment will be held at the New Salem Cemetery in Troy, Missouri.
