Kathy T. Cannon Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Kathy T. Cannon, 84, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital. She was born on May 23, 1932 in Troy, Missouri and was the daughter of the late Owen and Kathleen (Hall) Turnbull. Kathy married the love of her life Harold Cannon on November 22, 1951 in Troy, Missouri and to this union two sons were born. Kathy graduated from Buchanan High in 1950. She retired from the Trio Shop in Troy after many years of dedication. Most recently her time was spent taking care of her family, especially her great-grandchildren. She never missed a ballgame and always had the best pool parties. Harold and Kathy have shared many good memories traveling on cruises with family and friends. Kathy was an inspirational member of the First Christian Church in Troy, enjoyed being active in numerous social groups, and had many special friends. She is survived by husband of 64 years, Harold Cannon of Troy; two sons: Mike Cannon and wife Pam of Troy and Monte Cannon and wife Janet of Troy; one sister, Mary Sue Price of Troy; grandchildren: Carrie Darnell and husband Steve of Troy, Cale Cannon and wife Kim of Troy; Tyler Cannon and wife Megan of Troy and Rachel Enos and husband Stephen of Troy; great-grandchildren: Dane and Dallis Darnell, Dylan Cannon, Addison and Avery Cannon and Layni and Emily Enos; nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother-in-law, Ray Price. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the First Christian Church of Troy located at 1302 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at the First Christian Church of Troy located at 1302 Boone Street Troy, MO 63379. Officiating the service will be Pastor Jeffrey Moore. Interment will be held at the Troy City Cemetery.
