Michael "Mike" Robin Sanders

Michael “Mike” Robin Sanders, 67, of Montgomery City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at his residence in Montgomery City, Missouri. He was born on September 10, 1954 in Troy, Missouri, and the son of Charles “Charlie” Franklin and Elsie “Irene” (Dillard) Sanders. Mike graduated from Buchanan High in 1973. He retired after 40 years of dedication with Oldcastle Building Envelope in Truesdale, MO and mowed yards on the side for many years. Mike enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and was a member of the NRA. He was an avid Elvis fan and collected memorabilia. Mike loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them. He took great pride in spoiling his grandchildren by playing with them and telling them stories. Mike was always up for social hour with his friends and family. He was a great man, who didn’t know a stranger. Mike is survived by his son, Jared Sanders and wife Keri of Warrenton, MO; one sister, Cathy Sanders of St. Peters, MO; grandchildren: Cayson and Mintrel Sanders; bonus grandchildren: Gage (Martina) and Page; bonus great-grandchildren: Baylor and Juniper; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one infant sister, Melody, one sister, Joyce Reeves, one brother, Gary Sanders, one nephew, Jerry Reeves and one niece, Lisa Sanders. Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO.
