Paul Richard Mansil, 78, of Moscow Mills, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri. He was born on July 14, 1942 in Platte City, Missouri, a son of the late Meril and Mary (Shaiffer) Mansil. Paul was united in marriage to Margaret “Peggy” McNelius on December 21, 1972 and she preceded him in death on January 7, 2021. Paul graduated from Westin High School and continued his education at El Camino College. He served his country in the United States Air Force from February 3, 1964 until he was honorably discharged on January 25, 1968. Paul retired from TWA as grounds maintenance after over 30 years of dedication. He was a member of the St. Peters VFW Post #2866 and Elks Lodge #2587 in O’Fallon, Missouri. Paul liked to restore cars and never saw a project too big. He enjoyed tinkering around the house and being outdoors. Paul loved the time he spent with his wife, children and most of all his grandchildren. He is survived by his children: Thomas Gibson and wife Brenda of FL, Gail Clauser and husband Donald of Platte City, MO, Charrie Gibson of Seattle, WA, Michael Mansil of Troy, MO and Jennifer Foster and husband Chris of Troy, MO; one sister, Dorothy Layton, Linda Coghill (Lem), Diane Mansil and Sue Mansil; grandchildren: Shawn Floyd (Ashlynn), Andromeda McNelius, Melissa Nash, Kaitlynn Foster, Kensington Foster, Colten Foster and Kamryn Foster; great-grandchildren: Shawn Floyd, Jr., Jadah Brown, Luna Nash and Ophelia Sullivan, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Peggy Mansil, Mark Gibson, siblings: William Mansil, Betty Perkins (Carl) and Gilbert Mansil and one brother-in-law, Buster Layton. Family and Friends will be received from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at KEMPER -KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379.
