Ruby Rodgers, 87, of Troy, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Troy Manor in Troy, Missouri. She was born on December 19, 1932 in Doniphan, Missouri a daughter of the late James E. and Effie (Hillard) Thompson. Ruby was united in marriage to Donald James Rodgers on July 9, 1960 in St. Charles, Missouri and he preceded her in death. Ruby attended Grandin High School and worked at Boise Cascade Can Company and retired after 50 years. For many years she had enjoyed her husband, children, and following her grandchildren to various activities throughout their lives. She loved having her horses and chickens on the farm. She was a hardworking woman who will be missed by many. She is survived by her children: Andrew (Julie) Rodgers of Silex, MO, Michele Hogarth of Truxton, MO, and Michael Rodgers of Truxton, MO; twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son Donald Gregory “Greg” Rodgers, her daughter, Candy Vogel, one grandson Andrew Rodgers, and her thirteen siblings. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349.
