Steven Andrew Meyer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Steven Andrew Meyer, 66, of Hawk Point, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at his residence in Hawk Point, Missouri. He was born on November 22, 1952 in Dellwood, Missouri and the son of the late Eugene John and Virginia Mae (Finney) Meyer. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Cynthia Edwards on March 26, 1977 and to this union three daughters and one son were born. Steven graduated from McCluer High School in Florissant, Missouri. He served his country in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973, where he earned a National Defense Service Medal, Marksmen M-16 and 1st Class Hand Grenade. Steven was a diesel mechanic for Yellow Freight which is now YRC Freight for over 23 years. He was a member of Teamster Local #618. Steven enjoyed fishing, hunting, especially deer and turkey. Steven was an honest friend, who was a hard worker and was the rock of his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Cynthia Meyers of Hawk Point, MO; three daughters and one son: Maryann Bunch and husband, David of St. Louis, MO, Kemberley Perkins and fiancé Eric Weseman of O’Fallon, MO, Todd Harris and wife Krista Harris of Elsberry, MO and Stephanie Meyer and fiancé Jason Bauer of Hawk Point, MO; Step-Mother Sue Catron Meyer of Florissant, MO; siblings: Michael Meyer of St. Charles, MO, Robert Meyer of Florissant, MO, Jay Meyer of Franklin County, MO, Janice Tinker (Rick) of St. Charles, MO and Joe Johnson of Afton, MO; grandchildren: Xavier Meyer, Samantha Perkins, Cheyenne Bunch, CJ Lopez, Cynthia Harris, Stanley Bazan IV, Mya Sovar, Titus Harris, Jayden Pohl, Athena Harris and Myranda Pohl; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 30, 2019 at the KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 41 Farm Lane Hawk Point, MO 63349.
