Stormie Gail Brooks-Crenshaw, 40, of Berkley, MO, formerly of Silex, MO passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2020 at her residence in St. Louis, MO. Stormie was born on August 22, 1979 in St. Louis, MO. Stormie was united in marriage to Sherman Crenshaw on November 17, 2012 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union one daughter was born. Stormie graduated from Silex High School in 1997. She worked at Verizon in sales for many years. She enjoyed her daughter’s pageant competitions, where she won numerous awards. Stormie loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a contagious smile and making others laugh. She is survived by her husband, Sherman Crenshaw of Berkley, MO; one daughter, Kalleigh Renee Crenshaw; mother Mary Brooks of Silex, MO; one brother, Todd Brooks of O’Fallon, MO; brothers-in-law: Damon Crenshaw and Richard Crenshaw; mother-in-law, Sharon Crenshaw of Berkley, MO; one aunt, Essie May Phengly; nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, two aunts: Renee and Aunt Edith and two step-children: Darion Crenshaw and Ja’Zhon Scruggs. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Assembly of God located at 1154 Highway E, Silex, MO 63377.
