Thomas "Mike" Michael Crossno

November 2, 1960 - March 3, 2016

Thomas “Mike” Michael Crossno, 55, of Elsberry, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2016 in Troy, Missouri. He was born on November 2, 1960 in Jackson, MO a son of Thomas and Elizabeth Lee (Hammett) Crossno. Mike graduated from Silex High School in 1979, he worked for various companies over the years as a Commercial Electrician and was a member of the IBEW Local 1. In his earlier years he was the life of any situation and you could find him in his boat on the Mississippi River. He enjoyed raising chickens and gardening, he took pride in growing his tomatoes and corn. Mike enjoyed shooting trap, going to the local basketball games, golfing and attending the First Baptist Church in Troy. He is survived by his mother and step-father: Elizabeth L. and Larry Gregory of Troy; three siblings: Dennis Crossno and wife Deann of Knoxville, TN, Patsy Edmiston of Troy and Terry Freeman and husband Marty of Bowling Green; Fiancé, Laura Karnes of Troy and her three children: Andy, Tabitha and Tara Broeker; step-siblings: Toni Bryant (Henry) of Curryville, Terri Sue Parrish of Vandalia, Lanell Martin (Steve) of Stanton, CA, Mona Martin of Troy, Cary Gregory of Wentzville, Gary Gregory (Brenda) of Loxahatchee, FL and Larry N. Gregory (Charlotte) of Cape Girardeau; nieces and nephews: Jeremy Edmiston (Jayme), Josh Edmiston (Laura) and Joy Edmiston, Dennis Michael (Alicia), Nicole Checolo (Jim) and Lindsey Davis; eleven great-nieces and great-nephews, his four legged friends: Lucy and Chance, aunts, uncles, numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, step-father, grandparents and one aunt. Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the KEMPER-MILLARD-KEIM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME/TROY CHAPEL located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel.
