Brian Eugene Forshee

Brian Eugene Forshee, 52, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 3, 2024 in Troy, Missouri. He was born on October 21, 1971, in St. Louis, Missouri and was the son of Eugene and Lavone (Stanfill) Forshee. Brian was united in marriage to Stacey Schuchmann on September 25, 1992 in St. Louis, Missouri and to this union three sons were born. Brian attended Cleveland ROTC high school and continued his education at Kansas State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Retired Captain Brian Eugene Forshee proudly served the United States Army for 22 years. Throughout his military career, Forshee earned many awards and medals, some to include: 2 Bronze Stars, the Combat Action badge, and the Senior Parachutist badge. Forshee also served as a Commander of a Recruiting station. Also, a Drill Sergeant where he personally trained and developed thousands of the brave men and women defending our nation past and present. Brian was a motorcycle mechanic at Chariots of Fire in Troy, Missouri. He enjoyed working on and riding motorcycles. Probably his greatest joy in life was being a dad and papa. He also enjoyed working with his hands. You would often find him tinkering in the garage either on his motorcycle or his hobby with American Legacy Woodworks. He was a man of his word, the greatest friend, and a hero to many. Brian is survived by his loving wife, Stacey; three sons: Brian Forshee and wife Valerie of O’Fallon, MO, Michael Forshee and wife Kayla of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Kevin Forshee and wife Ally of Andover, KS; two sisters: Lisa Robinson and husband Larry and Michelle Sansone and husband Scott; grandchildren: Amelia, Mikey, Titan, and Atlas; nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lavone Forshee and niece, Krista Sansone. Family and friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery located at 2900 Sheridan Road St. Louis, MO 63125.
