Jacqueline "Jackie" Kay Goodman

Jacqueline “Jackie” Kay Goodman, 66, of Fort Worth, Texas, passed away on November 26th, 2024, at Kindred Hospital Tarrant County in Arlington, TX. She was born on June 13th, 1958, to Richard and Lora Jeanette (Hutt) Goodman in Sacramento, CA. She was the oldest of 4 siblings: Todd, Linda, and Lisa. Her family moved to Troy, MO in 1975, where she graduated from Troy Buchanan High School in 1976. She also received a degree in Psychology and Art from College of the Ozarks in 1984, where she was President of the Art Guild and was active with College Theater. After college, Jackie moved to Texas, where she worked as a Case Worker with My Health My Resources of Denton County, and then Tarrant County, for a total of 26 years. She was passionate about her work helping those with special needs. Jackie was a creative, fun-loving, free spirit. She was a life-long lover of art and photography. Not only this, but she was a wonderful and caring person. She had a big heart and was there for friends and family alike. Jackie enjoyed spending time outdoors in the flower garden. In addition, Jackie loved pulling pranks. No one was safe from her antics, including friends, family, coworkers, and complete strangers. Although Jackie may be gone, her spirit lives on in the lives that she touched. We will miss her very much. She is survived by her mother, Lora Jeanette Goodman of Troy, MO; her one brother and two sisters: Todd Goodman and wife Glenda of Troy, MO, Linda Boyd and husband Tom of Buffalo, MO and Lisa Goodman and husband Anthony “Tony” Morris of Collinsville, IL; aunts and uncles: David Goodman, Shirley Weinand and Jesse Hutt; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Goodman, grandparents and one nephew, Clay Boyd. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024 at Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. Interment will be held at Troy City Cemetery in Troy, MO.
