John Reynolds Haynes, 69, of Winfield, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at his residence in Winfield, Missouri. He was born on May 31, 1957, in Vincennes, Indiana, and was a son of John E. Haynes and Martha Gunter. John was united in marriage to Tamera “Tammy” Sue Dawson on March 17, 2007, in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. John graduated from high school and continued his education at Linn Tech, earning a degree in HVAC. He retired with over 20 years of dedication to the maintenance department with the City of St. Charles. After retirement, he went to work at Rural King. He was a member of the NRA and Union Local. John was active with the Wounded Sons Movement and was known to many as “Dead Eye.” He was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to hunt and fish. John looked forward to spending time on his Harley-Davidson Motorcycle. He was known for riding across the country on his motorcycle and for attending bike rallies. Some of the best memories he made with his family were on his motorcycle. He enjoyed camping and working on his 1978 Jeep. John was there when you needed him the most and would give you the shirt off his back if needed. He took great pride in spoiling his grandchildren and spending time with his family. John is survived by his wife, Tammy Haynes; two sons: John E. Haynes (Rachelle) and David M. Haynes (Shayna); one stepson, David Smith; siblings: Jackie, Jim, Phil, Nancy, Kimberly and Shandra; five grandchildren including: Kylar, Ivan and Tobias; one step-grandchild, Greg; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, John E. Haynes and Martha Rowlands and two sisters: Paula and Betty. Family and friends will be received from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at KEMPER-KEIM Family Funeral Chapel located at 351 Monroe Street Troy, MO 63379. Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 15, 2026 Kemper-Keim Family Funeral Chapel in Troy, MO. Private interment will be held at the Bellflower Cemetery.
