Rita Faye Stringer

Rita Faye Stringer, 59, of Moscow Mills, Missouri, passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at her residence in Moscow Mills, Missouri. She was born on October 24, 1964 in Troy, Missouri and was the daughter of John “JR” Lee Moran, Jr. and Bonnie Marie (Thornhill) Moran. Rita graduated from Buchanan High in 1983 and she continued her education at Northeast Missouri State and University of Phoenix. She was a familiar face for many years at Park Place Dry Cleaners in Troy. Rita was a member of the Moscow Mills Lions Club and Moscow Mills United Methodist Church. She loved her family, and her grandchildren were her everything. Rita was an active part of their everyday lives. She looked forward to when they turned 16 and she would take them to get their drivers license. It was a tradition for Rita and the grandkids to attend the Lincoln County Fair and the Troy FFA Alumni & Lincoln County Relay for Life Rodeo. She was a great daughter, who took great pride in caring for her mother. Rita would read any book she could get her hands on and was an amazing artist. She never met a stranger and knew the latest gossip. Rita had a great sense of humor and would put others needs before her own. Her loving, gentle smile and helping hands will be deeply missed. Rita is survived by her loving mother, Bonnie Moran of Moscow Mills, MO; two daughters: Alicia M. Kinsey and husband Steven of Winfield, MO and Meghan A. Corsiglia and husband Nicholas of Winfield, MO; one sister, Sheila Moran; five grandchildren: Brayden Parker, Nolan Moran- Corsiglia, Anniston Corsiglia, Aleeya Moran and Wyatt Corsiglia; two special caregivers: Barb Thornhill and Bobbi Kadlec; grand-puppies; nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Jr. Moran, one brother, Steve Moran and one uncle, Bob Thornhill. Family and friends will be received from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Moscow Mills Lions Club located at 30 Freise Industrial Drive Moscow Mills, MO 63362. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Moscow Mills Lions Club in Moscow Mills, MO. Interment will be held at Thornhill Cemetery in Troy, MO.
